RSVP & Registration

As word-of-mouth and publicity increases, it is important to me to put in place some RSVP & Registration steps that will resolve past problems. Everyone’s time is valuable. There have been some instances in the past where circumstances have forced me to reschedule a program. By sheer fortune, someone who found that program on-line happened to email me, otherwise I would not have been able to communicate the change to her.

RSVP – I request RSVP's for my complimentary Community Meditations and Discussion Groups. The process of doing this is simple. Search my calendar for the event and then click on the event. Scroll down past the description of the event, and you will see "Attendance Limit" (generally there is none, unless I have a small room reserved) and beneath it, a little icon with a link that says "Register Now". Click on this link and provide the requested information.

• How this helps you ... outdoor meditations, such as the one I did at Surfer's Knoll Beach in Ventura, could be cancelled if the weather is unusually cold or windy. By providing me with your email address, I can send out a notification of the status of the event as the date approaches.
• How this helps me ... some of my events are getting excellent press, which means more and more people are finding me. The 2008 Guided Forgiveness Meditation was so popular that we were shoulder-to-shoulder standing room only in the published location – definitely not conducive to inward focus! Fortunately, the hall next door was available. Having an approximate headcount in advance allows me to anticipate the need for alternate facilities and to communicate those details to you in advance.
  

Registration – I offer special website pricing for Workshop and Course registration. The process of doing this is simple and secure. Search my calendar for the event and then click on the event. Scroll down past the description of the event until you see the yellow PayPal button. Click on it to enter the secure PayPal site where you can complete the transaction with a credit card.

• How this helps you ... this allows the workshops to start on time, as it minimizes the need for me to collect money and checks at the door. This is the reason why I offer a discount for on-line registration and a higher price at the door.
• How this helps me ... My workshops and courses are interactive. I encourage a lot of questions because people retain more information this way. Thus I plan the content of my programs allotting time for this. Knowing in advance that I have 10 people versus 2 people makes a huge difference in how I plan the evening’s program, and allows the event to start and end promptly.
  

Forms of Payment Accepted – I accept credit cards through my website, or cash or check made payable to Integrative InSight. I do not have the ability to accept credit cards at an event, unless the hosting venue has means to process the payment for me.
